Frequently asked questions

These are the questions that I hear the most from new clients.

If there is something on your mind, but you don’t see it covered off here,

get in touch with me and I will be glad to help.

The primary goal of my 12-session programme is to guide you from uncertainty about your current career to a clear, actionable path to the work you were born to do.

The programme is divided into three phases:

Explore, Dream, and Discover.

In these phases, we delve into understanding your personal and professional drivers, generate potential career paths, and develop a detailed action plan to achieve your career aspirations.

I recommend setting aside 1-2 hours each week for our sessions and for completing exercises and reflections. The time commitment can vary depending on your individual needs and schedule.

You will receive personalised guidance and support throughout the programme. I will be with you every step of the way, providing feedback, answering your questions, and helping you stay on track.

I am extremely discerning with each client that I take on, only working with a very small number at any one time. Every potential client will be invited to a chemistry call first where we will get to know each other more.

The chemistry must be right, and if I don’t think I can give you the help you need I will introduce you to a more suitable practitioner. For this reason, I am very proud to say that I have never had an unsatisfied client.

My coaching focuses on empowering you to discover and pursue the career you were meant for. While career counselling may offer advice and solutions, my approach is to guide you through self-discovery and help you create a personalised action plan for achieving your career aspirations.

If you’re feeling unfulfilled in your current job, unsure about your career direction, or eager to make a meaningful change, career coaching can provide the clarity and support you need. Contact me and we can discuss if my coaching approach is a good fit for you.

Clients experience increased clarity, confidence, and motivation to pursue their career goals. By the end of the programme, you will have a detailed action plan and a clear vision of your ideal career path.

Sometimes it is difficult to know where to start, especially when things are mired in confusion, so here are a few starting points from real clients.

I am outwardly successful, but not fulfilled.  I ask myself ‘is this all there is?’ and I am afraid the answer is a resounding yes – can you help?

I want to work with someone like a career coach to find out what other careers I might enjoy before giving in my notice.

I’m driving myself crazy about my next career move.  At 42 I’m running out of time to make a big impression in the corporate world.  Can you help me figure out what i’m doing wrong?

I feel like a rabbit in the headlights with regards to my career.  I have made little or no headway over the past five years and I’m too terrified to leave in case the next place is worse.

I am working in collaboration with our overseas partners but there are frequent misunderstandings, mistakes about who’s supposed to do what.  My boss is not pleased with me.  How can I improve my output?

I have all the trappings of a wealthy, successful life but my mind is too stressed out to enjoy my life and inside I feel like I’m fading away.

I do a good job, I earn a good salary, but I want to do something that is more me – I’ve got to do something that is more me before its too late.

My boss is a bloody narcissist and I’m his fodder – I think I’m going to have a breakdown very soon.  I’m so stressed at home I think my wife is going to leave me.

That’s quite alright. That’s what I am here for. Most people who come to me feel somewhat lost or unsure what step to take next. It’s ok to have no indication of what that might look like, because that is part of the work we will do together.

Yes, if you feel you still need some accountability or direction after the 12-week programme we can agree a coaching arrangement that will work for you.

I can offer virtual coaching, if it is required.
